The National Budget 2025-2026 will constitute a major stride in Government’s endeavour to build “A Bridge to the Future” with a new model of development, underpinned by the cooperation of all stakeholders and the public at large. Its overarching objectives are to reconstruct the economy, strengthen the country’s finances and restore the strong social fabrics of the nation.
In this context, the Ministry of Finance is inviting all stakeholders, including Business and Trade Associations, Professional Bodies, Trade Unions, NGOs and Civil Society Organisations, and the public at large, to express their views and submit any specific proposals to be considered during the budget preparation exercise.
Views and proposals should be submitted to the Acting Financial Secretary, Ministry of Finance, at latest by Friday 21 March 2025 as follows :
- to the Secretariat of the Acting Financial Secretary, Government House, Port Louis;
- through e-mail: prebudget@govmu.org; or
- through the online platform: www.mauritiusbudget.com.
